Incident Summary:
At approximately 06:24, Homeland Security received an alert indicating that a silver Hyundai wanted in connection with a robbery had entered the Glenwood UIP area.
Homeland Security units were immediately dispatched, and Homeland Security Glenwood UIP TRT spotted the suspect vehicle travelling along King Dinuzulu Road (Berea Road).
The member immediately requested backup while maintaining visual contact with the vehicle.
The vehicle continued onto Botanic Road, where additional Homeland Security units arrived to assist.
The vehicle was successfully surrounded and detain the suspect
Berea SAPS was notified One suspect and the vehicle were handed over and booked into SAPS for further investigation.
