Success Report
At around 10:35, a Snipr activation was received from a Pigeon Valley UIP ANPR camera that a white VW Polo bearing the reg BN... was wanted as it was reported as stolen on a Harrismith CAS.
This was circulated on the Homeland Security Snipr group. Many security companies were actively searching for the vehicle during the search; it was spotted by Glenwood UIP—Homeland Security Tactical Response Officer, parked opposite a local food takeout on Helen Joseph Road.
The information was communicated to the South African Police Service (SAPS) via the E2 Network. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver detained. Thank you Umbilo Saps for your quick response.
