Stolen Vehicle Recovered – Homeland Security SA

Location: Glenwood UIP Precinct, Durban

Summary of Events:

At approximately 08:00, Homeland Security Tactical Response Teams received intelligence that a stolen red Renault Triber (Reg: CBXXXXXX, CAS XX/01/25) had entered the Glenwood UIP Precinct.

Homeland Security teams moved quickly to locate the vehicle After a brief search, the vehicle was located at a well-known fuel station on Che Guevara Road.

Homeland officers approached the vehicle, where three occupants were found inside. The individuals were instructed to remain on-site while SAPS was contacted for verification of the vehicle status.

The occupants complied without resistance, and Umbilo SAPS arrived shortly thereafter, taking custody of both the vehicle and suspects for further processing.

The vehicle was subsequently booked into SAP13 under reference XXX/10/2025.
