Summary of Events:

Homeland Security SA received a BOLO alert from Sydenham SAPS regarding a wanted Ford Bantam, linked to Sydenham CAS 13/01/26.

While conducting patrols in the Glenwood area, one of our Tactical Units spotted the vehicle travelling along Esther Roberts Road. Backup was immediately requested, and units maintained visual contact with the vehicle.

After a short follow, the vehicle came to a stop. Upon exiting the vehicle and noticing Homeland Security members, the suspect fled on foot down Umbilo Road.
