Daylight Robbery Suspect Arrested

INCIDENT REPORT

At approximately 10:50 AM on the 15th Feb, Homeland Security SA received a phone call from a complainant reporting that two suspects were robbing an African male and attempting to rob an elderly white female at the intersection of Cato Road and Clark Road.

Our units were immediately dispatched and began pursuing the suspects upon arrival. With assistance from members of the community, one suspect was apprehended and secured. The second suspect fled toward the town centre and was pursued but was unfortunately lost from sight.

The apprehended suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

Homeland Security SA extends sincere thanks to the individual who reported the incident — swift reporting enables swift action.
