Summary of Events:
Homeland Security SA received information from Cato Manor SAPS regarding a suspect wanted for armed robbery and attempted murder, along with vehicle details linked to Cato Manor CAS 104/02/26. The information was circulated to all operational units.
Approximately two weeks later, at around 01:00, Homeland Security teams spotted the circulated silver Suzuki (Reg: CF######) traveling along Helen Joseph Road.
Homeland Security Glenwood UIP TRT maintained visual contact with the vehicle while relaying real-time updates to additional tactical units. Within minutes, Homeland Security Tactical Teams successfully surrounded the vehicle and detained the suspect.
Cato Manor SAPS was notified and responded accordingly. The suspect and vehicle were transported to the station, where the suspect was formally arrested and the vehicle was booked into SAP13 for further investigation.
