Subject: Armed Robbery, Suspect Arrested

Location: Glenwood UIP Area, Durban
Summary of Events:
At approximately 23:20 on 16 April 2025, our team received an alert from Snipr via Homeland Security ANPR cameras. The alert was regarding a white Renault Triber bearing registration BM 5### ##, which was wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Greenwood Park (Case No. ###/4/2025). The vehicle had entered the Glenwood Urban Improvement Precinct (UIP).
Our team quickly located the vehicle parked on Ferguson Road and surrounded it. The control room immediately notified KZN OCC (IR No: 613826), which dispatched Umbilo SAPS to the location.
Umbilo SAPS officers arrived within minutes and successfully detained the suspect. Our team assisted in escorting the suspect’s vehicle to Umbilo SAPS.
The suspect was arrested in connection with the above mentioned armed robbery case, and the vehicle was booked into SAPS 13 under reference number ###/04/2025.
