On the 25th Oct at around 3.15 am a vehicle suspected to be involved in theft of motor vehicle entered the Glenwood UIP precinct. We received SNIPR alert from on our the GUIP Anpr cameras. We made contact with the Investigsting officer at around 3.20 am and he confirmed that the vehicle needs to be stopped and the driver detained for questioning. Quick response by Homeland GUIP TRT,  Homeland Response, Dew Force Security and Umbilo Saps led to the vehicle being stopped. Vehicle has been booked into SAP13 and driver detained at Umbilo Saps for further investigation.
