In August 2023, a white VW Golf with a black bonnet and 4 Bravo Mikes were robbing students and residents in the Manor Gardens area. Around 6 pm, we received a SNIPR alert from our ANPR cameras, and shortly after that, we received 2 reports of people being robbed at gunpoint. We managed to find the vehicle at a nearby filling station. On approaching the suspects, they jumped into the vehicle, firing shots at our members. As they fled, another Homeland vehicle arrived and gave chase , an Urban Defence vehicle joined the chase. 3 suspects were apprehended. Unfortunately, the driver got away. The suspects were recently sentenced to 3 years.
