Summary of Events:
While patrolling the Glenwood area, Homeland Security Glenwood UIP and Homeland TRT Response received information at approximately 23:50 that a white BMW X3 (Reg: DB######), wanted for fraud in a Boksburg case (CAS 316/07/2025), had entered the Glenwood UIP Precinct.
After a brief coordinated search, Homeland Security Glenwood UIP spotted the wanted vehicle travelling along Bulwer Road. Units followed it down Helen Joseph Road and then onto Esther Roberts Road, maintaining visual contact until additional backup teams arrived.
Once tactical support was in place, the vehicle came to a stop and was safely contained.
The vehicle and suspect were escorted to Umbilo SAPS, where both were formally handed over for verification, processing, and continuation of the Boksburg fraud investigation.
The BMW X3 was booked into SAP13 for further investigation.
