Information was received from Homeland security of a Honda CRV with reg number: NUxxxxx which was allegedly used in 2 counts of att murder Via Umkomaas CAS:133/10/2023 where a taxi boss was shot and the passenger was not injured. Members from Homeland Security, DRK Security and Umbilo CPF TRT observed the vehicle along Bartle road until we arrived. The relevant unit was contacted and we were advised to detain the 2 occupants of the vehicle merely as suspects for 48 hours for further investigation purposes. Both suspects were arrested and 1 x vehicle, cellphone, car keys and house keys were seized as per Cato Manor SAP 13-820/2023.
Charge: 2 counts att murder.
