Success report:
We had a stolen VW Polo enter Manor Gardens early this evening. We received a Snipr Activation and mobilized teams.
Homeland Security spotted the vehicle heading towards UKZN. Saps confirmed the vehicle was wanted and Csto Manor Trio Task team and other Homeland Security members waited on Rick Turner. The vehicle was intercepted near Albert Luthuli. While at Cato Manor SAPS we got another alert of a stolen vehicle on Mary Thiphe. The vehicle was parked outside the premises of a residence. The driver explained that his son took the car for an extended period of time and he reported the vehicle as stolen. His son brought back the vehicle after more than a week. He wanted to withdraw the case but was told the vehicle needs to be cleared.
